Barbara Wing Buikema, age 84, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday morning, January 22, 2017. Beloved wife of the late David Henry Buikema, Ret. Lt. CFD (1995). Loving mother of Ruthie (Mark) Barkus. Cherished grandmother of Brittany, Kimmi, Lauren, and Kara. Dear sister of the late Wallace E. (late Kay) Wing, Jr. Dearest aunt of Barbara Wing, Douglas (Laura ) Wing, and the late Wallace "Terry" Wing III. Great-aunt of many.

Visitation Monday, January 23, 2017, 3-9 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave., (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Visitation continues at Parkview Christian Church, 11100 Orland Parkway (183rd St. & Wolf Road) Orland Park, IL, on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL.
