Dorothy M. "Dot" Bruinius, nee Hartog, age 79, passed away on January 4, 2017. Beloved wife for 61 years to Bernard "Butch" Bruinius. Loving mother of Bernard Jr. (Karen), Terri (Craig) Boonstra, Glenn (Valerie), Dawn (Scott) Gibson and the late Jackie and John. Cherished grandmother of 16 and great-grandmother of 7. "Mother" of My Dung Cong (Tuan Tran) and their family. Dear sister of Jacqueline (George) Van Ryn, Henry (Bonnie) Hartog, Karen (late Terry) Blummer and Diane (John) Decker. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
