Edward A.  Dik
Edward A. Dik, age 74, of Mokena, IL passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016. Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Evelyn (nee Dykhuis). Loving father of Kristine (Jeff Taylor) and Steven Dik (Mary). Cherished grandfather of Carson and Camryn Dik. Dear brother of John, Sandra, and Roger. Dearest uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Henry and Alice.

Ed was born on January 2, 1942, in Chicago, IL, served as a Sergeant in the US Army during the Vietnam War, stationed in Ft. Hood, Texas. He proudly co-owned his family's 100 year old Pharmaceutical Wholesale company, Dik Drug, with his brother, John. Ed enjoyed spending time on his horse farm, with his many dogs, along with traveling with his wife, Evelyn.

Visitation Wednesday, August 31, 2016, from 3-9 PM. Funeral Service Thursday, September 1, 2016, 10:00 AM at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
