Condolence: Anyone who had the good fortune to know Leona and was able to share time with an absolutely wonderful woman, wife, mother and member of the community was indeed blessed. They don't make them like her anymore. I was blessed in having several Holiday dinners with Leona and her beloved husband and children, especially Easter for many years, many years ago. She was endearing and elegant and helpful and generous to a fault. Her legacy of goodness was passed on to her lovely children all their lives and is still carried on by Eric and JY, decent and unselfish men in their own right. The Young family displayed all that is good about America, hard-working persons of superior honesty and integrity who suffered much and always with great cheer and no complaints. They endured more than their share of tragedies with grace, dignity and insurmountable courage. Would that God Bless us with more persons like the magnificent Leona Young. I will always miss you, Leona. You brought happiness to my life and set standards I can only aspire to. You are unique and among the very best of what humans can be. Rest in Peace.
