Condolence From: Georgiann Bebar
Condolence: My first experience with Robert was as a visitor at STRIDES. He showed me around the facility introducing me to all of the program's horses and proudly spoke of his own riding experiences. Then, when I became an instructor, he provided valuable assistance as a horse leader. He was always ready to help in anyway needed. Robert also spoke often of his sisters and it was so evident that he cared about them very much. My sincere sympathy to all of Robert's family. He will be missed, but always remembered.

Condolence From: Carol Doenges
Condolence: Robert was a beloved part of the Strides family at Trinity for over 25 years, 17 of those being while I was there as director. He was one of the first that I trained to lead the horses and he took his job very seriously. I remember once I had just had a talk with my leaders about paying attention to what I was saying and not to the distractions around them. Someone came in and tried to talk to him and he told them he could not talk now because he had to listen to me. He took his job very seriously and was a very good leader and help to me especially in the early days of the program when I didn't have many volunteers. Robert loved the horses and loved to ride. He participated in Special Olympic horse shows as well as the local ones. I loved his enthusiasm for the program and for helping. He was a dear friend and I will miss him. My condolences to his sisters, Mary Ann and Kathy. He loved you very much.
