Elvera V. Mackey, nee Piña, beloved wife of the late Daniel R. (1990). Loving fianceé of Keith Kraehmer. Loving mother of Phillip (Lynnette), Julie (Kenneth) Herman, Michael (Bridget), and Mark. Proud grandmother of Daniel, Brendan, Nathan, and Ryan. Devoted daughter of the late Ariesto and Conception Piña. Dearest sister of Pauline, Caroline, and the late Charles Piña. Elvera was a devoted mother and loved her family greatly. She enjoyed her friends and family at social gatherings. Elvera found joy in music and dancing, especially to the tune of her favorite band; the Beatles. She lived life with a sense of generosity. She maintained a diverse set of interests ranging from reading her favorite literature, photography, to cheering on her favorite Chicago sports teams. Elvera was very active and young at heart throughout her life and will be greatly missed.
