Condolence: Our deepest sympathies to Clara and the Van Howe family. My parents were friends with Bernie and Clara back in the days in Palos. Bernie gave me personal instruction on pitching when I was in PYB years ago. I later interacted with Bernie and other Palos Heights elders such as Charlie Becker and Whitey Van Henkelum in the 1990's on some causes for Palos Heights. Rest in peace, Bernie.
