Richard E.  Janulis
Richard E. Janulis, born in Chicago (Hegewisch), IL, age 76, U.S. Navy Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn, nee Lucy (2013). Loving father of Karyn (John Isaacs) Janulis, Jeanne (Anthony) Demma and Eileen (Brian) Woltman. Cherished grandfather of Nina Demma; Breck, Colin and Mackenna Woltman. Dear brother of Leatha (George) Williamson, Jim Janulis and the late Judith K. Janulis Swartz. Richard aka “Hegewisch Rich” or “Mr. Fix It,” was an avid Bears fan and gardener. Rich took great pride in his rose garden as well as the “grandpa pumpkins” he grew each year. Rich worked for over 40 years as a stationary engineer for Carson Pirie Scott in Chicago. Visitation Monday, October 6, 2014 from 8:30 a.m. until time of Prayer Service 10:45 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL to St. Elizabeth Seton Church. Mass 11:30 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Illinois Veterans Home at Quincy (Activity Fund on memo line), 1707 N. 12th St., Quincy, IL 62301 preferred.
