Condolence From: John "Ozzy" Del Monte
Condolence: To the Dunn family: I am so sorry about Mike's passing. It was an honor working with him over the last several years. While I have had people ask me "Do I have to do this?" Mike's philosophy was "How can I help you?"

Condolence: Dear Nancy and Dunn and LaBelle Families,
I was so stunned and saddened to hear about your devastating loss. I was convinced some eleventh hour miracle would happen. Sadly, of course that was not meant to be. My image of Mike (and Nancy) is both of them laughing at our Musker family holiday gatherings, but for me, more poignantly, I picture the time they graciously spent with my at my Dad's wake. They compassionately listened to my many stories about my beloved Dad. It is beyond belief and reason, that a mere six years later, Mike himself has passed away. Staggering. I hope and pray your faith sustains your close knit family during this very difficult time. You will all be in my prayers.
Love,
Colleen

Condolence: Mike was one of the gentlest souls I ever knew. He was all about family-- his original family, his own family and his extended family. He had a touching request as each of the children in his life entered college. He wanted a t-shirt or basketball shorts from their college. He would wear these items proudly. It made each of his nieces and nephews feel special and cared about.
Mike was unassuming and selfless. He also helped keep many candy companies in business, particularly Fannie May, particularly their strawberry creams. When he came to dinner, I always knew dessert would be appreciated.
Lastly, Mike was one of the luckiest men in that he had a very tender, loving marriage with my sister, Nancy. They were always content together and kind to each other. It is hard to imagine one without the other.
