Chester 'Chet' C.  Parzynski, Jr.
Chester “Chet” C. Parzynski, Jr. age 64, passed away peacefully at his home, April 17, 2014. Beloved husband of more than 40 years to Donna, nee Dolecki. Loving father of Ryan and Kristyn. A PURRfect dad to Buddy. Dearest brother of Connie Mrozowski, Dee Parzynski and the late Jo Anne Burns. Fond brother-in-law of Maryann (Robert) Kelman. Preceded in death by his parents, Agnes and Chester Parzynski. Chet was a U.S. Navy Vietnam War Veteran, long-time member in good standing with Teamsters Local 705 and a certified small engine mechanic. His hobbies included photography, indoor Bonsai plants and landscape oil painting. He was an enthusiast of vintage muscle cars, avid collector of pocket watches, dedicated listener of Chuck Schaden’s “Old Time Radio,” builder-flyer-long-time member of radio controlled model aircraft with “Palos R/C Flying Club” and a devout “Faith Christian Reformed Church” family member of Tinley Park. Visitation Monday, April 21, 2014 from 3-9 p.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Lying in State Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. at Faith Christian Reformed Church 8383 W. 171st St., Tinley Park, IL 60477 (708-532-8300).
